Dad was in great spirits last night. His blood pressure remained up and his transfer back to 13East ward was only delayed while we waited for the new room to be cleaned. Once up in his new room, which is much smaller than his previous room in that ward, we all crammed in and sang Christmas carols. Dad led the way.
Dylan also brought in Dad's college yearbook so we got to get a little nostaglic too.
After we probably thoroughly exhausted him he was ready for a good nights rest. The entire Krisko and Campbell clans, Jo, Dylan and his girlfriend Christine packed up and we headed home.

Valerie & I were finally able to see Dad today @ UMMC. We spent as much time w/ him as he was up to spending w/ us (a few hours). He disliked that typical hospital & insisted on getting himself up (w/ just a little steadying help from us) before The Boss (Jeanne! ;D) got back & into the reclining chair next to his bed. He is very independent-minded & retains his sharp wit & wry sense of humor. When he got tired, we got ready to leave & got a chance to exchange a few minutes w/ Larry & Judy Fransen on their way in. I cannot think of anyone more appropriate & qualified to be his representative: truly Fine People.
